Ocean Swirl

pinhole photograph : film

Went for a late fall, two week walk.  Got to Olympic Shore at the same time a storm moved in.  24 hours in a tent, reading the “Dictionary of the Khazars” and crawling out between breaks in horizontal rain to see and photograph the ocean as it pounded into rocky gaps in the cliffs.  Film: Kodak 35mm (color, shot processed as black and white), Exposure 1.5 minutes.  Photographer looking like a drowned rat.
